The Pasadenas; refrescante funky

The Pasadenas fueron un grupo inglés que, basándose en coreografías y sonidos que se les podría identificar claramente con el sonido Motown de los años 60, iniciaron a finales de los años 80 una corta pero refrescante irrupción en el panorama musical europeo. Mezclaban el funky con el Rhytm & blues y el pop, exhalando un aroma elegante y muy distante del rap dominante de la época.

Refrescante funky con canciones llenas de fuerza y energía como en "Riding On A Train", "Tribute(Right On)", o "I'm Doing Fine Now", contrastaban con otras de talante más suave y sensible, como en "Enchanted Lady", donde acaparaba el espíritu de Smokey Robinson. Todo un placer poder disfrutar de ellos con su estilo y sonido envolvente de nostalgia a los años 60 y 70.
